The last 2 games have been so exciting to watch and it gives me hope that the Leafs are on the right path. I have really liked the top two lines the last few games, and think that even though Lupul is known for his quick release he has done a great job of setting Kessel up and he has 3 assists in 4 games so far.
I am happy to see the Grabo, MacArthur and Kulemin line back together. Those three have a very nice bromance going on and they are all so quick. I thought that Grabo was concussed forsure after that Chara hit. Losing him would have been a huge blow to the team this year. But of course he comes back and scores the winner with a minute to play.
The Maple Leafs are also going to have to sign one or two goalies to back up both James Reimer for big club and Ben Scrivens for the Marlies. J.S. Giguere could be out for awhile with more groin problems and Jussi Rynnas is on the IR for a month with a broken finger. Jonas Gustavsson should be out for at least another week with his third heart ablation surgery. Does anyone know anyone that can play goal?
The Leafs play Ottawa next and I hope they don't take them lightly. Yes Ottawa in trading away all their veterans but they still have young players fighting for roster spots and with something to prove.
Go Leafs Go:)
