Cuba and Gretzky

So after some freezing cold temperatures here in Toronto I am starting to look at taking off during reading week. I know some of my friends are going to Cuba, so that is an option. But when I look in my bank account and see how little cash is in there, I might just stay in the city and work. I know my parents would give me money to go away. But I am starting to get to the point where I don't like taking money from them. God, I guess I am growing up..lol

So Wayne Gretzky is 50 today. For some, I guess that makes them feel old. For me, I barely remember watching him live. I was 9 when he retired so I mostly just remember him playing for the Rangers. I heard from my Dad that he did want to come to Toronto and finish his career, but the Leafs owner at the time was having some money problems and decided not to sign him.

Gretzky retiring in a Toronto Maple Leafs Jersey would have been awesome. It's a shame it didn't happen.

When you look at his records, it's hard to think of anyone breaking them.

-        50 goals in 39 games
-        215 points in a season…wow
-        2857 career points, Messier is 2nd and 1001 points behind
-        92 goals in one season
-        Winning Eight Hart Trophies in a Row
-         Scoring 894 goals in his Career
-        12 Consecutive 40-Goal Seasons
-        47 points in a single Post Season
-        The only player to ever reach 200 points in a season. He did it 4 times.

I could go on and on. But I need to study:)

What is your favorite Wayne Gretzky moment?
